Mission Statement

Since 1965, The Newport Beach Ocean Lifeguard Association has been dedicated to promoting ocean safety, professional excellence, and public education through support of the Newport Beach lifeguard community. We strive to enhance lifesaving services, foster leadership and camaraderie among lifeguards, and advocate for the preservation of our coastal environment—ensuring a safer shoreline for all who live in and visit Newport Beach.
